Exquisite quality - comparable to $400 sunglasses!

If I bought these in Italy, I'd pay over $400 easily. The quality is simply outstanding and the price is an absolute bargain for the quality you get. Zyl (cellulose acetate) is a natural polymer mostly from wood pulp and cotton fibre so it's incredibly comfortable, hypoallergenic, strong, and customizes to your proportions over time. Wearing zyl is a totally different experience from wearing plastic frames. My guess is that these frames were hand polished too because the finish is very lustrous and smooth. The CR39 lenses are very light to wear, optical quality excellent (I have the ones with the amber tint). I was a little nervous about buying sunglasses without trying on because I have a wide, round face with a smallish nose and it makes it harder to find glasses that 1) fit and 2) don't make my face look even wider than it is. I'm glad I took the chance though because they are very flattering on. Thinking they'd probably be good for triangular and square shaped faces too - judging from the friends who tried them on (you folks with the lovely oval faces seem to just be able to wear anything so I didn't add you to the list :) ). Was worried the black would be too severe and the red too hard to match with other things, the blue-brown color was a good compromise.... stylish and interesting, but wearable with just about anything.
